Privacy

Glocial uses the information you provide to operate your account, events, connections, and membership. Glocial’s published privacy policy remains available on its website.

Account and event information

Your name and the professional details you add may be shown alongside your events. Event hosts can see the name, email, company, and RSVP status of their guests. Your account email is used for access and billing. Passwords are protected with one-way hashes.

Payments

Stripe handles checkout and payment methods. Glocial stores payment references, ticket status, and membership status. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe.

Your choices

You can update your profile, manage billing, and delete your account from your profile. Deletion anonymizes your profile and removes active sessions; financial records are retained for accounting and refunds. Location check-in, where enabled, is voluntary. This app does not track background location.
